12:00 pm: Castor’s Fight Club with Castor Fitness
September 27 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 12:00 pm on Monday and Friday, repeating indefinitely
Castor’s Fight Club is a boxing class for anyone fighting Parkinson’s, Alzheimers, or just the effects that aging takes on your balance, mobility, and strength. This full-body workout helps with agility and hand-eye coordination, all of which can be affected by Parkinson’s and other neurological diseases. Boxing can help build muscle, and strengthens speech with the practice of vocal projection. Improvements in walking, balance, performance of daily activities and quality of life have been shown in people who box regularly. We jam out to great classic music, and add a few dance steps to make it fun. This also makes for a great beginners boxing class! Join our group and start fighting with us!!
Equipment needed: Boxing Gloves, Clean fitness shoes, (no street shoes allowed in studio)
