Associate Jazzercise Instructor
Danita Morrison has been a Jazzercise instructor since February 2007. She first discovered Jazzercise in 2003 while living in her home state of Texas. She immediately fell in love with the program, so it wasn’t long before deciding to become a certified instructor shortly after moving to Washington state in 2006. The passion and joy Danita has for the effectiveness of the Jazzercise program is what she hopes to inspire in others while teaching. Jazzercise is her second family.
Danita lives with her husband Mike Morrison, and they have a son Wil. She is a stay-at-home mom and admittedly enjoys being a bit of a homebody, with occasional hikes and adventures to the beach with their dog, Buddy. Besides teaching Jazzercise classes Danita also home schools Wil.

Heather has been a fitness instructor for 7 years and has a passion for teaching low impact classes. She attended yoga and TRX classes at her local gym in her free time. When she saw a post and video about the Yoga Trapeze® on Instagram, she knew she had to try it out for herself! Yoga Trapeze® helped relieve her constant shoulder, neck and back pain. She has also built more strength and increased her flexibility tremendously. Heather made the decision to become a certified Yoga Trapeze® instructor so that she could help others feel and experience the benefits that she had with the Yoga Trapeze.
Heather is married and has 3 children. She was born and raised in Kitsap and currently lives in Silverdale. In her free time she loves to be outdoors hiking, swimming, skiing, paddle boarding and hanging upside down from her Yoga sling!

Born in the Phillipines, Castor began his lifelong love affair with fitness in his 20’s. He managed a gym and began his body building career in 100 degree heat, wearing flip flops to the gym. After moving to the US in 1996, Castor began training at Bangor Naval base in Silverdale, where he spent 10 years in the military. He started competing in body building competitions, and began honing his sport, kickboxing. Castor began teaching classes at Bangor, and then at the Bremerton YMCA. He was asked to be the lead instructor when the Haselwood YMCA in Silverdale was launched in 2011. His classes were packed, with over 300 people waiting to get in. In 2004 and 2008 he won 1st place in the Lightweight Division as well as OVERALL CHAMPION at the Mr. Fort Lewis competition. Castor recently competed at the NPC Bodybuilding Nationals after placing 1st at the WA Ironman in 2012 and 2014, and continues to compete around the NW. In 2013, Castor began training and teaching at Bainbridge Athletic Club, and continued a full schedule at the Y, as demand for his classes grew. He launched Castor Fitness in the spring of 2019, along with his life partner and fellow instructor, Shayne Turgeon. He continues to train and teach at the Y as well, but wanted to bring more of a small group boxing and training to the island. This venue is more of a boutique boxing experience, a fusion of cardio, boxing and personal training—and a way to cultivate more one on one attention to his clients in smaller groups.
